Registering an Account
New login accounts are registered on the main ICU site by members who have subscribed to the ICU (see this article for more details). The same member-chosen combination of email and password can be used to log in to this ratings site. An account eventually becomes inactive if it's owner doesn't renew their subscription but can be reactivated by a new subscription.
Synchronising Accounts Between the Two Websites
The two sites are backed by separate databases that need to synchronise shared data such as login accounts. This synchronisation happens once per day which can lead to delays of up to 24 hours before members are able to log in to this site after accounts are created on the main site.
