This information is for tournament reporters who want to make changes to or correct mistakes in tournament data they have previously uploaded to this web site. In the case where the tournament has already been rated then you should:

  1. Ask the rating officer to unlock the tournament (all tournaments are automatically locked after being rated).
  2. Follow the appropriate instructions below for the type of change you want to make.
  3. Inform the rating officer your changes are complete (who will then rerate the tournament).

Correct a Result

  1. Open the Admin View of the tournament, locate one of the players and click their name.
  2. You'll see two tables; on the left the player details, on the right, their results.
  3. Identify the result you want to change and click the corresponding edit button, , on the extreme right.
  4. Edit the result in the popup box and click Update.

The change may cause the player ranking numbers to become inconsistent so follow the instructions below for reranking the tournament.

Add a Missing Result

This only works if both players are already in the tournament. If you have to introduce an additional player, you'll have to resubmit a new tournament report.

  1. Open the Admin View of the tournament, locate one of the players and click their name.
  2. You'll see two tables; on the left the player details, on the right, their results.
  3. Identify a free round for the player and click the edit button, , for that round.
  4. Use the Opponent menu to locate the other player (if they were playing that round they won't be in the menu so click Cancel and try another round which is free for the first player)
  5. After finding the opponent, edit the rest of the result details as appropriate and click Update.

The additional result may cause the player ranking numbers to become inconsistent so follow the instructions below for reranking the tournament.

Rerank the Tournament

After changing or adding a result, the tournament will likely not be ranked correctly, so perform the following operation:

  1. Open the Admin View of the tournament.
  2. Click the rerank button, , on the extreme right.
  3. In the popup box, make sure Rerank is checked.
  4. Click OK.

Correct or Add a Player's ICU ID

  1. Open the Admin View of the tournament, locate the player concerned and click their name.
  2. You'll see two tables; on the left the player details, on the right, their results.
  3. In the details table, the second row is where the ICU ID should appear.
  4. If you know the correct ID to use, click the edit button, , at the top on the extreme left, type the ID into the ICU ID box and click Update.
  5. If you don't know the correct ID, then click the search button, , next to ICU ID in the details table.
  6. This will popup a search results box already showing a list of possible matches based on the player's full name.
  7. If you don't at first see a match, widen the search using the controls at the bottom, for example by removing portions of the player's name (which might not be correctly spelled)
  8. When a match is found, click the match found button, .
  9. This will update the player's ICU ID (and possibly other information) in the details table.
